Welcome to Ditch the Drip!
What a year 2012 was! After winning my third Olympic gold medal in the summer games in London,
I decided it was time to look forward to new adventures with my husband, family and friends and
I announced my retirement from competitive beach volleyball. But for me, retirement doesn’t
mean staying home and kicking up my feet. That’s why I continue to keep my nasal allergies under
control so nothing keeps me from enjoying quality time with those I love. By being prepared, I am
ready to take on whatever the future holds.
Nasal allergies can impact us in more ways than we realize, whether it be our relationships with
friends or family, our productivity on the job or even our sleep. The key to living a healthy,
productive life, in spite of the burden of nasal allergies, is working with your doctor to develop
a treatment plan. That is why I’ve partnered with Teva Respiratory and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA)
on the Ditch the Drip program for the second year in a row.
